NATURAL WATER COOLER

(PROMOTED BY: Gujarat Energy Development Agency, Vadodara)

A simple scientific arrangement for cooling unlimited quantity of safe drinking water – naturally – without the use of any external energy source such as electricity or ice. Working on the principle of ‘evaporative cooling’, the natural water cooler is developed by a local artisan and is made up of indigenous materials only.

The NWC is fabricated using mainly copper tubes and galvanized iron / stainless sheet. The water cooler is fitted with a standard make micro-filter for filtering solid particulate and contaminants. The NWC can be connected to overhead water source and is very simple to operate and maintain. Push type SS tap is provided for long service life and temper-proof operation.

The Natural Water Cooler is a product that comprises of following components

- Cooling Coil + Storage Tank (20 litre holding capacity) - Copper

- Micro Water Filter (Candle Filter)

- SS Tap (Heavy Duty)

- GI Body – Colour Power Coated

- Supporting Frame (MS angle / CRCA) – Colour Powder Coated

The 20 litre Natural Water Cooler provides cool and hygienically safe drinking water in large quantities sufficient for 300-500 persons daily.With practically no operation & maintenance cost - natural water coolers are ideal for use in public places such as parks & gardens, bus depos, hospitals, hotels, hostels, etc.

Natural Water Cooler of 20 litre capacity (GI model) only promoted under GEDA scheme only educational institutions within Gujarat.

Important:

Provision of appropriate arrangement for regulation of water pressure in the cooler, piping and tap, to match with main rooftop/elevated water source must be considered prior to installation.
